Worked on the nopSolutions/nopCommerce repository to enhance the reliability of database migrations during the v4.9.0 upgrade cycle. Focused on backend development using C#, addressing a critical bug related to Topic index existence validation. Implemented a targeted fix that ensured the migration logic correctly checked for the presence of the necessary index on the Topic table, thereby preventing upgrade-time errors and reducing potential downtime for customers. This work improved the overall upgrade process by minimizing the risk of migration failures. Leveraged skills in backend development and database migration to deliver a stable, low-risk solution that supported smoother customer upgrades.
