Worked on the appsmithorg/appsmith repository to deliver a deployment configurability enhancement for the appsmith Helm chart. Developed and integrated a flexible HTTP port configuration, enabling users to customize the HTTP container port while maintaining a backward-compatible default of 80. This feature was implemented using YAML and Helm, leveraging Kubernetes best practices for configuration management. The update included introducing a new port configuration variable and incrementing the chart version to reflect the change. This work improved deployment flexibility and maintainability, supporting diverse environments and reducing operational friction for teams managing multi-cluster Kubernetes deployments. No major bugs were addressed during this period.
