Worked on the bluesky-social/atproto repository to maintain deployment reliability by updating example configuration files in response to an API change. Focused on configuration management using Shell scripting, the work involved renaming the environment variable PDS_BSKY_APP_VIEW_ENDPOINT to PDS_BSKY_APP_VIEW_URL, ensuring that onboarding documentation and deployment processes remained aligned with current API practices. This update reduced the risk of misconfiguration and minimized potential support issues for new developers. The approach prioritized stability by preserving existing features while keeping documentation current, reflecting a careful and detail-oriented method for managing configuration changes in a collaborative development environment. No new features were added.
