During April 2025, Chia Jung worked on the pytorch/executorch repository, focusing on resolving a critical ImportError affecting InputRecorder compatibility with multiple torchao versions. By updating the import path logic and aligning module imports with torchao’s evolving versioning, Chia Jung improved cross-version stability and reduced downstream failures for users. The work involved targeted debugging and package management using Python, with careful validation across different environments to ensure robust CI performance and release readiness. Although the period did not include new feature development, the depth of the bug fix contributed to smoother execution workflows and enhanced user experience for the repository.
