Developed and delivered a real-time swarm activity metrics feature for the ruvnet/ruflo repository, enabling accurate live updates of active swarm agents in the statusline. Leveraging TypeScript for backend development and file system operations, the work introduced the updateSwarmActivityMetrics function to maintain a JSON file reflecting agent activity as agents are spawned or stopped. This approach ensured the statusline displayed up-to-date counts, improving UI reliability and operator decision-making. The implementation included robust commit traceability and maintainable code changes, with a focus on CLI tool integration and real-time event handling to enhance observability for users monitoring swarm activity.
