During November 2024, Dane focused on improving the Task Management UI in the ya-pomogau/frontend repository by addressing a persistent issue with text truncation detection and ensuring the Edit Task button remained visible and functional within modals. Using React, TypeScript, and CSS, Dane refined the useTruncatedText hook to better align truncation logic with actual UI behavior, resulting in a more consistent and responsive editing experience for users. This targeted bug fix reduced user friction and improved the maintainability of UI components, demonstrating careful attention to both user experience and code quality within a short, focused development period.
