Worked on the mullvad/mullvadvpn-app repository to enhance observability for iOS end-to-end test pipelines by implementing Slack-based notifications using GitHub Actions and YAML. Developed a workflow that sends alerts to Slack when iOS E2E tests do not complete successfully, leveraging the workflow_run event to centralize and reduce duplicate notifications. Adjusted status semantics to align with GitHub API conventions and documented validation steps within commits to ensure repeatable testing. This approach improved monitoring coverage, enabled faster incident awareness, and contributed to the reliability of the CI/CD process. The work focused on CI/CD, DevOps practices, and Slack integration.
