During July 2025, Dan Paunescu focused on stabilizing the frontend styling workflow and improving developer tooling for the CompassionCH/compassion-website repository. He addressed a persistent SCSS color palette loading issue by refining the Prettier formatting hook, ensuring SCSS files were excluded to prevent formatting conflicts that previously caused build failures. Leveraging his skills in configuration management and DevOps, Dan also introduced automated pre-commit tooling by adding a setup.py and integrating a symbolic link for the website_remove_shop Odoo addon. These Python and YAML-based changes improved code quality enforcement, streamlined contributor onboarding, and resulted in faster, more reliable pull request reviews.
