During January 2026, Dayuan Jiang focused on simplifying the user experience and improving maintainability in the DayuanJiang/next-ai-draw-io repository. He led the end-to-end removal of the Close Protection feature, including its state management, UI components, and related language dictionary entries. This work, implemented using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, reduced UI clutter and streamlined user flows, making onboarding easier and minimizing potential support issues. Jiang also performed targeted localization and asset cleanup to eliminate dead code. The changes were delivered through well-documented commits, reflecting a thoughtful approach to front end development and internationalization within a short project period.
