During July 2025, contributed to the helix-editor/helix repository by enhancing the JetBrains dark theme’s user interface. The work focused on theme customization and configuration management, introducing a distinct primary selection color to improve visual clarity and consistency for users editing themes. This involved defining a new color token, blue214, and implementing a configurable ui.selection.primary option using TOML for theme settings. No bugs were addressed during this period, as the primary focus remained on feature development. The update enables more granular control over theme appearance, supporting a better developer experience for those customizing or extending Helix’s theming capabilities.
