Developed Colab Notebook Secrets Support for API keys in the togethercomputer/together-python repository, enabling secure management of TOGETHER_API_KEY within Google Colab environments. The work involved updating the Python client to detect and utilize Colab notebook secrets, enhancing both security and workflow efficiency for users running code in Colab. Integration tests were expanded to cover the new secrets workflow and ensure robust API key handling. The project focused on Python development, API integration, and secret management, culminating in a package version bump to reflect these enhancements. No major bugs were reported, indicating a smooth and well-tested implementation during the development period.
