During October 2025, Darcy Brown developed an automated theme management solution for Omarchy, focusing on seamless integration with Obsidian. Working in the basecamp/omarchy repository, Darcy implemented a Bash-based script that dynamically matches and updates Obsidian themes to align with the current Omarchy theme across all registered vaults. The approach consolidated legacy installation scripts into a single automated workflow, introduced persistent vault discovery in Documents and Dropbox, and maintained a registry for multi-vault environments. Leveraging automation, shell scripting, and theme development skills, Darcy’s work enabled rapid, consistent theme deployment with minimal user intervention, addressing scalability and user experience challenges.
