Worked on the knowledgesystems-k8s-deployment repository to deliver a modular ingress configuration for mosaic.cbioportal.org. The approach involved isolating the Mosaic Ingress settings into a dedicated mosaic-ingress.yml file, which improved the modularity and maintainability of the Kubernetes deployment. By separating these ingress rules, the work established clearer boundaries between different ingress configurations, reducing cross-configuration dependencies and enabling safer, more targeted updates. The implementation relied on YAML for configuration management and leveraged Argo CD and Nginx Ingress to orchestrate and expose services within the cluster. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with the focus on feature delivery.
