During May 2025, Dario Lencina integrated the Python SDK CI/CD pipeline within the iggy-rs/iggy monorepo, automating builds, tests, and releases for the Python SDK across multiple platforms and architectures. Leveraging technologies such as Maturin, Docker, and GitHub Actions, Dario configured cross-platform and multi-architecture support while maintaining backward compatibility with the existing release process. The integration minimized changes to the repository’s surface area and included clear documentation updates to support team handoffs. This work streamlined the release workflow for Python and Rust components, reducing manual intervention and ensuring reliable, consistent packaging and deployment for downstream users and contributors.
