During September 2025, Dariusz Niedoba delivered comprehensive Polish localization for the uutils/coreutils-l10n repository, focusing on both core utilities and user interface terms. Leveraging Weblate, he established a scalable workflow for ongoing translation updates, ensuring consistency across modules and reducing future localization effort. Dariusz utilized FTL and FreeMarker to implement Polish translations for commands such as hashsum, chcon, chroot, and whoami, as well as UI components like cat and comm. His work addressed internationalization and localization challenges, expanding accessibility for Polish-speaking users and enhancing user satisfaction by providing native language support without introducing new bugs.
