During January 2025, Dariusz S. focused on improving the stability of the TCP provider in the ofiwg/libfabric repository by addressing a concurrency issue affecting RDM operations. He identified and fixed a data race by correctly assigning the xnet_rdm_ops_open function to the ops_open field within the xnet_rdm_fid_ops structure, ensuring proper handling of parallel access scenarios. Working in C and leveraging his expertise in low-level and system programming, Dariusz delivered a targeted, well-documented change that tightened the correctness of opcode mappings. This work enhanced the reliability of concurrent RDM usage and facilitated future maintenance through clear commit practices.
