Worked on coreeng/corectl and amazon-contributing/opentelemetry-collector-contrib, focusing on developer tooling, build automation, and observability pipelines. Improved CI reliability and developer workflows in corectl by updating golangci-lint configurations, refactoring tenant validation logic for efficiency, and introducing a Makefile with comprehensive build and test targets. In opentelemetry-collector-contrib, delivered a foundational Faro data receiver component, enabling ingestion of Faro logs and traces and updating repository governance files for future integrations. Leveraged Go, Makefile, and YAML to implement robust dependency management, component configuration, and receiver development, resulting in streamlined development processes and enhanced data handling for both repositories over two months.
