Worked on enhancing the user experience of API documentation within the fedspendingtransparency/fiscal-data repository by developing comprehensive sub-navigation routing tests. Focused on verifying that navigation links correctly direct users to key sections such as Getting Started, API Basics, Parameters, Responses, and Examples, this effort aimed to reduce confusion and ensure reliable access to documentation content. Leveraged Cypress for automated front end testing, utilizing both JavaScript and TypeScript to implement and validate the new test coverage. The work established a foundation for more robust documentation flows, contributing to improved usability and maintainability of the API documentation for future development cycles.
