During February 2025, Daron Barnes enhanced the fedspendingtransparency/fiscal-data repository by developing comprehensive sub-navigation routing tests for the API documentation. Using Cypress and leveraging his front end development and testing skills in JavaScript and TypeScript, he validated that users could reliably navigate between key documentation sections such as Getting Started, API Basics, Parameters, Responses, and Examples. This work established foundational test coverage for critical documentation flows, directly addressing potential navigation confusion and improving the overall user experience.
