Daryna Pastushenko modernized the notification system for the XRPLF/xrpl-dev-portal repository by migrating from react-alert to react-hot-toast, focusing on improving both user experience and code maintainability. She implemented a reusable toast-based notification architecture using React and TypeScript, which enhanced the appearance, responsiveness, and accessibility of notifications throughout the application. This work emphasized scalable front-end development practices and reduced future support friction by simplifying notification management. Although no major bugs were addressed during this period, Daryna’s contribution provided a cleaner, more consistent UI and established a foundation for maintainable, accessible notifications using modern JavaScript and React libraries.
