Worked on the apache/netbeans repository to modernize language tooling dependencies, focusing on upgrading LSP4J to version 0.24.0 and Xtext to 2.32.0. Addressed deprecated APIs by replacing them with current alternatives and updated the test suite to align with the new APIs, which improved maintainability and reduced the risk of future test failures. This effort enhanced compatibility with the latest language-server features and positioned the project for smoother future updates. Demonstrated skills in Java, API integration, and dependency management, contributing to a more stable and maintainable codebase while reducing the long-term maintenance burden for the NetBeans ecosystem.
