Worked on the datarobot-user-models repository to enhance reliability and configurability by introducing a configurable notebook process limit, controlled through the NOTEBOOKS_NPROC_LIMIT environment variable. Used bash scripting and environment configuration to implement a safe default value, robust validation, and fallback behavior, ensuring operational consistency even when the variable is missing or invalid. Diagnostics and logging were improved by directing output to stderr, keeping generated profile scripts clean. Coordinated dependency updates and reconciled IDs and tags to maintain alignment with related components such as nbx-kernels, and reinforced CI resilience by addressing flaky mlops_reporting checks and documenting all relevant changes.
