Using DM and TypeScript, Dave coordinated multi-repository rollbacks, carefully removing weight calculations and related UI elements to restore the previous, more predictable disease progression. This work involved code refactoring and risk-free rollback practices, ensuring that all three codebases maintained consistent behavior and clear in-game communication. By prioritizing maintainability and player experience, Dave’s efforts reduced confusion and minimized the risk of future balance regressions, providing a solid foundation for subsequent redesigns and ongoing game development.
