Worked on enhancing reliability and data integrity within the Temporal replication workflow by addressing a critical issue in the temporalio/temporal repository. Focused on backend development and distributed systems using Go, the work involved implementing a bug fix that disabled Data Center Redirection for the ListWorkflowExecutions() function. By ensuring this function executes on the local (Passive) cell rather than forwarding to the Active cell, the solution reduced cross-cell traffic and minimized data inconsistencies. This approach improved predictable workflow behavior across data centers, contributing to more robust distributed system operations and maintaining consistency in multi-cell Temporal deployments.
