Worked on enhancing packaging stability and build reliability for the apache/ofbiz-framework repository by addressing limitations in Gradle’s default distribution packaging. Focused on resolving distZip failures that occurred when archives exceeded 4 GB or contained more than 65,535 entries, the developer enabled Zip64 support within Gradle’s Zip task using Groovy. This targeted fix allowed the creation of larger distribution archives, directly supporting large-scale deployments and reducing build failures. The work demonstrated proficiency in build automation and release engineering, with clear commit documentation and traceability to OFBiz issues, ensuring future reproducibility and maintainability of the packaging process for the project.
