Worked on the Countly/countly-server repository to enhance stability and real-time data handling in a front end context. Addressed a persistent event handling issue by removing a problematic setTimeout, which eliminated an infinite loop and improved application reliability. Delivered a new feature enabling concurrent data fetching by introducing the preventRequestAbort option to AJAX requests, allowing multiple simultaneous calls to the same endpoint without aborting previous ones. This change improved responsiveness and the accuracy of real-time data updates. The work was implemented using JavaScript and AJAX, with a focus on refining data propagation and ensuring robust front end development practices throughout.
