This approach tied configuration parameters directly to runtime behavior within gossip.c, reducing manual setup and enabling more reproducible development and testing environments. The work laid a foundation for improved production parity and streamlined environment management, with documentation and commit messaging updated to reflect the new configuration-driven methodology for embedded systems development.
