Worked on enhancing the adobe/helix-html2md repository by increasing the default image size limit from 10MB to 20MB, enabling the HTML-to-Markdown pipeline to process larger assets more reliably. This update involved modifying backend logic in JavaScript, updating related API endpoints, and revising automated tests to ensure the new limit was enforced correctly. Error messages were also adjusted to provide clearer feedback when image size constraints are exceeded. The change reduces false positives and manual intervention in content workflows, supporting improved reliability and content quality. The work demonstrated skills in API development, backend development, and comprehensive testing within a production environment.
