Worked on the apache/iceberg repository to deliver a catalog enhancement supporting unique table locations, addressing data integrity and multi-tenant isolation requirements. The solution involved updating catalog classes in Java to introduce a property for unique table locations, ensuring that new tables could be created without location conflicts. Comprehensive unit testing was added to verify correct enforcement of the new property, with expanded test coverage for catalog-based table creation workflows. AWS integration and backend development skills were applied to align the catalog subsystem with evolving usage patterns. Documentation and internal comments were improved to clarify the updated workflow and property usage.
