Developed an Azure Release Pipeline Test Development Environment for the NHSDigital/e-referrals-service-api repository, focusing on enhancing release governance and deployment safety. The solution introduced manual approval gates and integrated test execution within the pipeline, leveraging YAML and Azure Pipelines to ensure each release undergoes thorough validation before progressing. This approach reduced deployment risk and improved traceability by embedding dedicated test gates, supporting safer and faster releases. The work also established foundational support for APIM and test development environments as part of the release process, demonstrating a strong grasp of CI/CD and DevOps practices while delivering a targeted, maintainable pipeline enhancement.
