Developed and delivered an Icon URL Generation feature for the tw93/Pake repository, targeting self-hosted applications that operate behind authentication. This solution integrated walkxcode/dashboard-icons as a primary icon source, using app-name matching to reliably fetch icons, and implemented a fallback to domain-based icon services to ensure coverage. The feature was built with TypeScript and focused on backend development and API integration, resolving icons at build time to prevent missing-icon issues and authentication barriers. By automating icon retrieval, the work improved branding consistency and user experience for deployments such as Grafana, Proxmox, and TrueNAS, while maintaining clear documentation and traceability.
