Developed and delivered a Slack notification feature for the openshift/release repository, enabling real-time alerts when Core OVN jobs are triggered within CI/CD pipelines. This integration improved observability by providing immediate visibility into job statuses, which facilitated faster triage and decision-making for the team. The solution leveraged YAML for configuration and demonstrated skills in CI/CD automation and DevOps practices, with all changes properly committed and signed off. By tying Slack notifications directly to the Core OVN workflow, the work addressed the need for timely updates on job activity, ultimately streamlining communication and enhancing the efficiency of the release process.
