Dylan Hyun worked on aligning the UI design system for the hashicorp/boundary-ui repository, focusing on standardizing typography and border styles to match HashiCorp Design System (HDS) tokens. Using CSS, Sass, and SCSS, Dylan converted font-family, font-size, font-weight, and border-radius properties to token-based values, establishing a consistent and maintainable styling baseline. This groundwork addressed design drift and set the stage for scalable UI updates across components. Although no bugs were fixed during this period, Dylan’s efforts centered on design-system adoption, collaborating with the team to ensure adherence to HDS standards and improving the overall code quality and maintainability.
