Worked on modernizing test infrastructure within the openshift/release repository, focusing on improving CI efficiency and reliability for operator validation workflows. Led the migration of mariadb-operator integration tests from KUTTL to Chainsaw, consolidating test orchestration and reducing CI resource consumption. Enhanced the Chainsaw command script using Shell and YAML, introducing dependency handling and deployment wait features to better align with KUTTL capabilities and ensure robust end-to-end validation. Addressed test path discovery issues and synchronized test execution with operator deployment readiness, resulting in faster feedback cycles and more consistent CI outcomes. Documented changes to support future maintenance and contributor onboarding.
