Worked on the contentauth/c2pa-rs repository to address stability and performance issues in nested claims processing, focusing on backend development with Rust. Tackled a complex memory growth bug by designing and implementing a flat, O(n) ingredient store builder, which replaced the previous approach that caused exponential memory usage. Restored eager population of manifest data to ensure compatibility with existing tests and improved reliability across continuous integration environments. Collaborated with the team to refine error handling and assertion logic, contributing to more robust code quality. The work demonstrated strong skills in data structures and performance optimization within a Rust-based backend system.
