Worked on enhancing the Lighthouse CI comparison workflow in the adevinta/actions-lighthouseci-compare repository by introducing improved debug logging for Lighthouse Report parsing. Focused on increasing error visibility and streamlining the debugging process, the changes enabled faster identification and resolution of parsing issues, which supports more reliable data comparisons and stable CI workflows. Utilized TypeScript for implementation, applying debugging and unit testing skills to ensure that the new logging features added minimal overhead while maintaining performance. Demonstrated a methodical approach to logging instrumentation within a Node.js environment, contributing to better observability and more efficient troubleshooting for continuous integration processes.
