During their work on the systemd/systemd repository, Debarshi focused on improving the reliability of package ownership for environment generator directories within the build system. By updating the Meson build configuration to invoke install_emptydir for both systemenvgeneratordir and userenvgeneratordir, Debarshi ensured these directories are consistently created and properly owned by distribution packages. This change addressed packaging bugs related to directory ownership, aligning the build process with distribution workflows.
