Worked on the au-ts/lionsos repository to enhance the reliability and diagnostics of the firewall metaprogram’s data structure size calculation. Focused on improving error handling by introducing structured and actionable error messages, which help reduce triage time and support maintainability. Leveraged Python programming and metaprogramming techniques to deliver clearer diagnostics when issues arise in the size calculation process. The changes were implemented with a concise commit, emphasizing maintainable code and improved observability. No bugs were fixed during this period, but the work contributed to a more robust error reporting system, making troubleshooting and ongoing development more efficient for the team.
