Worked on optimizing the CI/CD deployment infrastructure for the hngprojects/AI-Ad-Gen-Frontend repository by migrating from GitHub-hosted to self-hosted runners. This transition addressed ongoing billing issues and improved cost predictability while maintaining the existing deployment workflow to ensure uninterrupted release cycles. Leveraged DevOps practices and YAML configuration to implement the migration, preserving release velocity and minimizing risk during the changeover. The update established a foundation for scalable CI/CD resources and enhanced governance over pipeline infrastructure. No bugs were fixed during this period, with the primary focus on infrastructure optimization and cost management through improved control of runner capacity and deployment processes.
