During March 2026, Dudu Edri developed Polaris Deployment Annotations for the apache/polaris repository, enabling per-environment deployment customization through Helm charts. This work involved updating deployment templates to support policy-driven annotations, which improved automation and consistency across Kubernetes environments. Dudu utilized YAML and Helm to implement these changes, ensuring that deployment patterns could be tailored to specific operational needs. The project included comprehensive updates to tests and documentation, reflecting a disciplined approach to both code quality and maintainability. By addressing issue #3921, Dudu enhanced deployment observability and demonstrated a strong grasp of DevOps practices within Kubernetes-based workflows.
