Developed and delivered a real-time avatar capability for LiveKit agents by integrating the Trugen avatar plugin into the livekit/agents-js repository. This feature enabled real-time avatar functionality within voice interactions, enhancing agent presence and user engagement without disrupting existing workflows. The implementation involved full stack development using Node.js and TypeScript, with a focus on seamless API integration and real-time communication. The work was completed in a single, well-scoped commit, demonstrating careful attention to minimizing surface area impact. No major bug fixes were reported during this period, as the primary focus remained on feature delivery and cross-functional collaboration for agent experience.
