Developed and delivered the Asciinema Player plugin for the obsidianmd/obsidian-releases repository, enabling users to embed both local and remote asciicast files directly within Markdown notes. This work involved implementing the plugin using JavaScript and Markdown, ensuring seamless integration with the existing plugin ecosystem. The developer updated the community plugins registry by validating and correcting the plugin’s id and description, which improved discoverability in the catalog. Throughout the process, attention was given to metadata validation and compatibility, resulting in an end-to-end solution that enhanced user workflows for embedding terminal recordings in Obsidian Notes without introducing any bug fixes during the period.
