During a one-month period, Deeraj enhanced the cluster import flow in the RafaySystems/terraform-provider-rafay repository by developing a feature that enables labels from resource data to be automatically created during cluster import. Using Go and Terraform provider development skills, Deeraj modified the import workflow to pass label information directly into the NewImportClusterWithProvisionParams function. This approach ensures that labels are consistently applied at the time of import, reducing the need for manual post-import labeling and improving governance and traceability. The work demonstrated a focused, well-scoped change that improved the reliability and maintainability of the provider’s import process.
