Worked on sapcc/go-makefile-maker to enhance deployment traceability and CI/CD reliability by introducing Docker image tagging based on the Git commit hash. This feature enables precise identification of deployed images, supporting more robust release processes. The implementation involved updating the GitHub Actions workflow to automatically generate sha-tagged Docker images and revising the project’s README to document the new tagging strategy. Focused on feature delivery rather than bug fixes, the work leveraged Go for core development, Docker for containerization, and Markdown for documentation. These improvements laid the groundwork for more transparent and reliable deployments within the existing DevOps pipeline.
