During December 2025, Sandbrook contributed to the hlrs-vis/covise repository by developing a Dockerized build environment tailored for Rocky Linux 9. He authored a Dockerfile that automates the installation and configuration of all dependencies required to build the COVISE application, ensuring consistent and reproducible builds for both developers and CI pipelines. This approach streamlined the onboarding process for new contributors and reduced environment setup time, while also improving build reliability across different systems.
