During September 2025, Demir Gazetic contributed to the solid-design-system/solid repository by standardizing validation icons across all form controls, including combobox, input, select, and textarea components. He replaced the internal status-check icon with confirm-circle to ensure consistent visual validation states, aligning the UI with design system guidelines and reducing user cognitive load. This work, implemented in TypeScript and focused on front-end development within a component library context, was delivered as a single, focused feature. The update not only improved UI consistency but also established a scalable foundation for future icon theming, accessibility enhancements, and maintainable component design across the application.
