During March 2025, Jan Demosek focused on enhancing the Czech localization of the GIScience/sketch-map-tool repository. He updated the messages.po file by correcting a typo in the About section and adding new translations for Help section descriptions, directly improving the user experience for Czech-speaking users. Working primarily with PO files and leveraging his skills in localization and translation, Jan ensured that the interface was more accessible and reduced potential confusion for end users. Although no major features or bug fixes were delivered beyond these updates, his work validated the localization workflow and prepared the project for future multilingual support.
