Worked on the UCB-TallerDeDesarrollo/TDDLab repository, focusing on enhancing the security and reliability of a VSCode extension. Addressed a packaging vulnerability by updating the .vscodeignore file to exclude the .env configuration, thereby preventing accidental exposure of environment-specific secrets during distribution. This change aligned the extension with security best practices and improved packaging integrity. The work involved skills in VSCode extension development and configuration management, with attention to secure handling of sensitive files. No new user-facing features were introduced during this period, as efforts were concentrated on resolving this critical bug and validating the extension’s packaging process for safer deployments.
