Worked on maintenance of the analogdevicesinc/libiio repository, focusing on improving the reliability of the IIOD service through targeted bug fixing. Addressed a configuration issue by correcting the assignment of the IIOD_EXTRA_OPTS environment variable within the iiod.service.cmakein file, which involved removing an extraneous character that previously caused improper service setup. This change enhanced the startup and configuration process for the IIOD service, ensuring more predictable behavior in managed environments. Applied a disciplined patch workflow using CMake for system configuration, leveraging skills in service management and configuration scripting to resolve the issue without introducing new features during the period.
