Worked on improving map interaction stability for the vkoves/electrify-chicago repository, focusing on resolving a specific issue affecting Desktop Safari users. Addressed a bug where tap interactions caused unexpected behavior by implementing a Safari-specific stability guard, which disables tap interactions on that platform while leaving other environments unaffected. This targeted fix enhanced the reliability of the map experience and reduced potential support requests from users on Desktop Safari. All changes were delivered in a single, traceable commit to maintain clear project history. The work leveraged Vue.js and JavaScript, demonstrating attention to cross-browser compatibility and careful risk management in front end development.
