During the month, contributed a targeted feature to the symfony/symfony repository by enhancing IP address handling in the Symfony HttpFoundation component. The work focused on extending the IpUtils class to support RFC6598 Shared Address Space, enabling accurate recognition of 100.64.0.0/10 private networks. This update improved the reliability of request parsing, logging, and security controls by reducing edge-case errors related to IP processing. The implementation was carried out using PHP and involved backend development practices along with unit testing to ensure correctness. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on this specific feature enhancement.
